TONIGHT
She goes to the grocery and buys a pack of Marlboro light though she just quit. She wants to be somewhere else but she cannot escape this life she hates to live.
And she hopes that it will soon be after light, because in the night she prays upon the stars up in the sky that she just might escape these painful chains in her mind - Its gonna be alright tonight.
Watching from a dirty window she's reminded what its like without him. Lightning leather, drops of muddy red remind her not to get caught in the dream.
And she's sad to see that soon it will be light, protective night will have its stars ripped out of the sky, she wonders why she waits so patiently for this guy - its gonna be alright tonight.
In her mind, candle light. Down upon her knees she just want to be forgiven. In her hand, bright crimson. Silence once again, fast asleep, the phone in her hand.
